Title: Red, My Favorite Color. Author: Evil Willow Status: incomplete Note: Sequel to 'Willow, This Is Doyle' ~*~*~*~*~ Willow sat in the window seat looking out the city of LA. She couldn't wait to see her old friends. But she also couldn't wait to see Doyle. It's been two months since she seen him, but they've been talking on the phone every week. They agreed that they try to visit each other as much as they can. The bus finally stops and people start to slowly get up from their seats. Willow grabs her bag and starts headed off the bus. When she gets off, she looks around for her friends. There were a lot of people at the bus stop, she couldn't see well because of the crowd. "Willow!" a voice called out to her. She looked to see who it was and there stood Doyle near the curb smiling at her. "Doyle!" she called to him. She went over to him and gave him a big hug. "I've missed you.” she said. "Missed you more." he added. She just giggled. "Well, come on, Angel and Cordy are waiting for us back at the office" he said taking her bag. ~*~*~*~*~ Angel and Cordelia were waiting down in Angel's place. Cordelia was reading a magazine and Angel was just sitting in a chair drinking some blood. Then they heard the elevator door opened. "Hey guys" a voice called. They turned and it was Willow standing next the Doyle. "Will" Cordelia she and went over and gave her a hug. Angel slowly got up and took a good look at her. *Wow, she looks great* he thought. Willow was wearing tight blue jeans and a tank top that showed her belly button a little. "Angel" she said after hugging Cordelia. "Hey, Willow" said and embraced her. *God, it's good to hold her. What am I saying?* He thought. Willow didn't seem to notice after the hug. "So, Willow, you and Doyle hooked up huh?" Cordelia asked. "Yup, he really is sweet,” she said. "Hey, I try" he added and kissing her on the cheek. Cordelia could see from the corner of her eye, that Angel was kind of annoyed by that. *Maybe it’s the whole protecting-a-friend thing* she thought. "Okay, let's get you settle in at Cordelia's place and the four of us can go out tonight" Angel said. "Cool, hope you don't mind staying with me and a ghost" Cordelia asked her. "A ghost" she asked. "Dennis, its a long story, but he's like Casper so don't worry" she assured her. "Well, that's good" she said. "I better get going, I have a few things to do" Doyle said and gave Willow a long good-bye kiss. "See you tonight" she said as he left. "God, Willow I'm really happy for you" she said. "Yeah, he's great,” she added. "At least he'll stop drooling over me,” Cordelia added. "You're a real friend Cor" Willow said sarcastically. "I know,” she said. Willow just rolled her eyes and turn to Angel, who didn't say much since she got there. "Angel, you all right" she asked him. "Huh" he said. "Are you all right, you look like something's bugging you" she asked. "I'm fine, Willow" he assured her. "Well, I say since we're going out, I think us girls are going to do a little shopping" Cordelia said and taking Willow by the hand. "Go on, have fun" he said. "Okay, see you tonight" she said and the two girls left leaving him alone. ~*~*~*~*~ Angel just sat back down and just wondered what just happen. *Why should I be bugged just because Willow and Doyle were all cuddly like? They are together now after all. You did that yourself. I mean, Willow is a wonderful person, who wouldn't wanna kiss. . .* Angel quickly shook his head at the thought. *Whoa, where did that come from? * He thought. "No way" he said to himself. *No way, you're jealous. She's you're friend . . . yeah . . . you're good friend . . . * ~*~*~*~*~ Its night and the four of them were sitting at a table at the "Flaming Sally's", a new club that just opened. They were just talking and having a good time. "Hey, I'm thirsty, I'm going to get a drink" Doyle said getting up. "I'll help" Angel offered. "You want anything ladies" Doyle asked. "Nope, we're fine" Cordelia said. "I'll be right back" Doyle said to Willow and kissed her on the neck. ~*~*~*~*~ "Well, I see you two are happy" Angel said to Doyle waiting for his drink. "Yeah man, she's so amazing" Doyle said looking over at Willow still talking to Cordelia. *Yeah, she is* Angel thought. "Hey, Mac, here's your drink" the bartender said. "Thanks" Doyle said and gave him his money. They headed back to the table. Doyle was about to say something when his head jerked and he dropped his glass and it broke on the floor. "Doyle" Willow cried with surprise. Angel grabbed him before he hit the floor. Doyle saw demons. . . a dark mansion. . . and. . . something red. . . someone's hair. . . Willow! When it was over he looked around and saw Angel and Willow looking down on him. "You all right" Willow asked concerned. "Yeah, I need to seat for a second" Doyle said. Angel helped him to a chair. Some people saw what happen and wanted to see if he was okay. "Okay, show's over people! Nothing to see, go back to dancing and getting drunk, okay?!" Cordelia said warning the people off. "What did you see" Angel asked him. "What do you mean by that" Willow asked Angel. "He gets visions" he explained. "From the *Powers That Be*" Cordelia added. "Be what" Willow asked still a little confused. "We don't know exactly" Angel said and then turned back to Doyle "Doyle, what did you see?" "There were demons and, and a dark mansion of some kind, but there's something else" he said. "Like what" Willow asked. Doyle looked at her, afraid to tell her what he saw. *I don't like that look* she thought. "Doyle, tell us already" Cordelia ordered growing impatient. He took a deep breath. "Willow was in my vision and. . . I think she's in great-" "Danger" Willow said finishing his sentence. "I'm afraid so" he said. "Come on, let's head back to the office and do some research" Angel said leading the troops. They followed him but Doyle stopped Willow. "Willow" he said. "Yeah" she said. "I just want you to know that I'm sorry, I didn't plan on this-" "Doyle, there was no way you could have known" she said letting him know its okay. "I'll die before I let anything hurt you" he said. "I know" she said and kissed him on the cheek. "Come on, the boss man is waiting for us" he said and they left the club. ~*~*~*~*~ Parts 3-4 "It was tall, slimly, pointed ears and this symbol of the cross on his chest" Doyle told the others looking through Angel's books for the demon. "Okay. . . slim. . . pointy ears. . . " Cordelia said flipping through some pages. "Found it" Angel said. They went over to Angel to see what he found. "Ewww. Thousand times *ewww*" Cordelia said looking away. "It's called a *Prowler*, they have the power to change into human form but needs human hearts to eat, in order to stay alive" Angel said reading a little from the book. "Wow, its been a while since we were up against a heart eating demon" Willow said. "Still doesn't explain why it wants Willow" Doyle said still concern. "I'm getting there. It also says that they are hunters. They hunt down powerful witches and give them to other witches to earn their powers" Angel said. They all look at Willow. "Look, I know I practice witchcraft and yeah I do have power, but I'm not that powerful" Willow pointed out. "Well, this *Prowler* guy thinks differently" Cordelia said. "Maybe you are all powerful Will, you just don't want it" Doyle pointed out. Willow just gave her man a thoughtful look. "What now" Willow asked Angel. Angel stood up and said "Do what I always do, find it and kill it." "I thought so" Willow nodded. * * * It was getting late, Angel told the girls to get some rest and told them he and Doyle would check in on them in the morning. Doyle went out to talk to some of his leads and Angel trained downstairs. He was punching and kicking the punching bag. He kept getting pictures of Willow and the demon in the book. He kept seeing Willow being killed by it. The more he thought about it, the more he punched and kicked. Every impact he got madder and madder. Then he let out a yell and swing really hard and the sand fell out of the bag. Angel started patting after that work out. *That's what I'm going to do to that demon* he thought to himself. Then he heard the someone coming down the stairs and saw Cordelia and Willow. "Hey" he greeted. "Hey, boss, working out I see" Cordelia said pointing at the mess. "Oh, well, I didn't know my own strength" he said sheepishly. "Just getting ready to kick some demon ass huh" Willow said. "Yup, nothing is going to hurt you" Angel said placing a hand on her shoulder. "Thanks Angel" she said smiling at him. Cordelia notice the look in Angel's eyes. She seen that look before. It was the look that she use to give Xander, before they broke up. *No way* she thought. Of course, Willow didn't notice which was good, cause Doyle just came in with a paper bag in his hand. "Hey, guys" he said. "Doyle" she said and went over to him and hugged him. "I got you something" he said and pulled something out of the bag he was holding. He pulled out a box and powdered donuts "I thought you might be hungry" he said giving it to her. "You remember what kind of donuts I like" she said. "Yeah, well, I saw these and thought of you" he said. "That's sweet" she said and kissed him. Angel just looked away and Cordelia decided to say something. "Um, guys, I hate to break up the moment, but demons. . . Willow. . . danger, any of this ringing a bell here" she asked. "Oh, right" he breaking the kiss. "Sorry" he said to her. "It's okay" she assured him. "I got a little info on some warlock in town named, Ned Millard. He's rich guy, in his early twenties. . ." "and comes from a long line of powerful witches and warlocks right" Cordelia said finishing his sentence. "Yup, but witch boy here has been getting weaker everyday. Seems that he uses his powers alot to get what he wants and everytime he does he becomes weak" he said. "And I bet he hired the Prowlers to get Willow, so he could do this spell so he could get her powers" Angel added. "Yup" he said. "Where can we find here" Cordelia asked. "That's the down side. No one seems to know where to find him, unless. . ." Doyle trained off. "unless what" Willow asked. "Well, you know the club we were at *Flaming Sally's*, well I saw one of the waiters and he happen to be a guy that owns me money" Doyle said. "Someone actually owns *you* money, are you sure it isn't the other way around" Cordelia asked. "What's his name" Angel asked ignoring Cordelia's remark. "Kenny" he answered. "Where can I find him?" "You'll find him at the club. Once Kenny gets a job, he takes it seriouly and spends most of his time there" he said. "Okay, Cordelia and me, we'll go to the club. Doyle take Willow to the nearest magic shop and see if you can find any kind of protecting spell" he said. "Okay" he said taking Willow by the hand. "Be careful" he called out. "Don't worry" Willow answered. They were gone and he ordered Cordelia to follow him into the parking garage. As they were going to get in, they heard something. They turn to find a little boy holding a ball in his hands. "Hi there, little man, had us worried for a sec" Cordelia said sweetly. He just smiled at her. "Where's your mom" she asked walking to him. The boy backed up a little. "I won't hurt you" she said. "Cordelia, get away from him" Angel ordered. "Angel, he's only a little boy" Cordelia said turning to him. "Actually" a voice said from behind her. She turned saw the boy turn into a Prowler demon. "I'm not" he said and grabbed her up the throat. "Angel" she cried his name. "Cordy" he cried back. * * * Parts 5-7 Cordelia let out a shriek as the demon squeezed her neck. "Let her go, you sick bastard" Angel ordered. "Tell me where the witch is" he started to say, "and I might let her go." "I don't know where she is" Angel lied. "Liar, see I was going to let this pretty little thing go, but now I'm going to eat her heart cause I'm hungry" he said. "Sorry, but I like to kept my heart where it is" she managed to say and kick him really hard in the shins. He let out a cry and threw her aside into the nearest wall. Angel saw his chance and punched it in the face. He swung again, but the demon blocked and punched him in the gut. Angel back up a little and ducked a punch from that thing. He gave him a shining back fist and grabbed him by the head and it connected with his knee. The demon backing up a little. "This isn't over stranger, Millard will have her and all of you will die" he said and ran out of the parking garage. "Why do all demons have to say that, it gets old after a while" he said to himself and went over to Cordelia was lying on the ground dazed. "Cordelia, you all right" he asked concerned. "Um, no, an ugly-ass demon just tried to kill me just now,” she said angrily getting up. "Ow, god, that really hurt" she said rubbing her neck where the demon held her. "It's almost sunset, we better get moving,” he said leading her in the car. "Where did it go?” she asked looking around for the thing. "Worry about that later" he said and they got in the car and heading for *Flaming Sally's*. __________________________________________________ At a magic shop called "Blessed Be Forever”, Doyle and Willow entered the shop. The place was filled with books, potions, and tools for casting spells. "Blessed be, anything in mind you are looking for" the brunette shopkeeper asked them. "Yeah, we're looking for a protection spell" Willow said. "Second row in the back" she pointed at the far end of the shop. "Thank you" she said going in that direction. "How about you sir, interested in a love spell maybe" she asked Doyle sweetly. "No, I don't need a love spell, my love life is pretty good for once" he said looking in the direction where Willow went to. "Ah, you might feel lucky then" she said guessing that he meant Willow. "That I do, miss" he said going to help Willow. As he was going there, his demon sense kicked in. He had to admit that his demon half did come in handy at times. He smelled blood and it coming from the back somewhere. He could sniffing and the smell ended at a door. He slowly opening it and found a dead body of a woman with her heart ripped out. Doyle took a closer look and his widen. It was the shopkeeper. He quickly closed the door and took a quick peek from the bookshelves. The shopkeeper, or the fake one, was just checking the display case. *Prowler demon, I got to get Willow out of here* he thought. "Doyle, I found some spells, come here and look" she called to him. He quickly went over to her. "Let's go" he said pulling on her arm. "What? But we just got here" she pointed out. "We're in trouble" he said. "Why" she asked. "The shopkeeper, isn't a shopkeeper, its a Prowler. I found the real shopkeeper dead with her heart ripped out" he said. Willow eyes widen and without another word they started to head for the front door. But the shopkeeper, blocked their way out. "Going somewhere" she asked folding her arms. "Well, we couldn't find what we were looking for, so we'll just be leaving" Willow said quickly. "I'm sorry" she said and turned into her true form, "but we're not leaving." Then the back door burst open and two more entered the room. "Take them" he ordered to them and reached for Willow. "Back off" Doyle said pulling Willow away from him. "How cute, boyfriend guy tries to protect his little girlfriend here" he said and punched him in the gut. Doyle grabbed his stomach and coughed. "No" Willow yelled. The other demons just laughed at him, which made Doyle mad. He stood up straight with rage in his eyes. "You know, at first I didn't want to hurt you guys. But I now that I think about it", he said turned to his demon face, blue with pointy spikes sticking out of his face "I *do* want to hurt you." Without warning he attacked the demon that pretending to be the shopkeeper. He punched him and threw him to the nearest bookshelves. Willow turned and faced the other two demons. She had to use some serious magic here. She focused really hard and sure enough, she send them flying to back wall. "Cool" she said to herself. But one of them got up and started to charge at her. She shrieked and ran toward one of the shelves. Doyle was on top of the demon in threw and kept punching and punching him in the face. The demon caught his arm in mid punch and threw him off. They were both up and they were circling each other like a pair of wild animals. Willow looked at one of the books at the shelves and send it flying toward the demon's head. It barely hurt, she tried again only a bigger one this time. He growled in pain. Then she heard a cry. She turn and saw Doyle on knees and the demon twisting his arm. "Leave him alone" she yelled at the demon. "Willow look out" Doyle warned her. But it was too late the other demon knock her out from behind and fell on the floor. "Take her the Millard" he ordered the two. "Willow" he cried out to her. The two each grabbed an arm and dragged her out the back. "Thanks" the demon said to Doyle and then knock him out as well. "What about him" one of the demons asked the leader. "Leave him" he said and they left, leaving Doyle unconscious. Angel and Cordelia got to the club and the people were coming in. They asked one of waiters where they could find Kenny and he pointed to a tall guy with dark skin giving drinks to a couple. They went over to him and Angel tapped him on the shoulder. "Can I help you" Kenny asked them. "You, Kenny" Angel asked. "Yeah, do I know you" he asked. "We're friends of Doyle" Cordelia added. "Tell him I'll pay him by next week" he said and walked over to the bar with the two of them behind him. "That's not why we're here. We need information" Angel pointed out. "About what" he said setting his tray down. "Ned Millard" Angel said. Kenny just looked at him as if he was crazy. "Forget it man" he said shaking his head. "Please it's important" Cordelia pointed out. "Look, I'm not gonna help you" he said and started walking away but Angel grabbed him by the arm. "Then we'll have to do this the hard way" Angel said dragging him outside. The people just stared at them dumbfounded. "They're rehearing for a play" Cordelia told them and followed the two outside. They were outside and rounded a corner into an alley. Angel shoved Kenny into a wall and held him arm length. "Hey man" Kenny said trying to break free. "Listen to me," Angel cutting him off "I'm usually not so violent, but this Millard guy is trying to kill a friend of mine. And I don't want anything happening to her." Angel looked around and found an empty beer bottle and broke it against the wall. "Either you tell me where he is or I'll scrape your damn face off with this" he said showing him the sharp end of the beer bottle. "I'd start talking if I were you" Cordelia told Kenny. He looked at Cordelia and then at Angel. "All right, 154 Eastward Dr. There's where you'll find him" Kenny said. "Thanks" Cordelia said. "Okay, I told you already, now call him off" Kenny told Cordelia. "Angel, let him go" Cordelia ordered him. "How do I know you're not lying to us" Angel asked Kenny. "Angel" Cordelia said. "I'm not, I swear to god" Kenny said. "You better be telling the truth because if you are, I'll. . ." "Angel" Cordelia yelled cutting him off. Angel turned his head toward her. "He's had enough" she told him. "Cor. . ." "Enough!" she told him. Angel looked at Kenny really hard and let him go. "Get out of here" Angel told him. Without another word he ran back in the club. "What the hell was that" Cordelia asked after Kenny was gone. "What are you talking about" Angel asked. "I'm talking about that whole scraping-face-off scenario. God, I know we're trying to save Willow but you're overdoing it a bit" she said. "Look, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to do that" Angel said. "Well, you fooled me" Cordelia said. "Angel, why won't you admit it" she asked him. "Admit what" Angel asked. "About Willow. How feel about her. I've seen the way you've been looking at her, you had the *look*, and lucky for you Willow and Doyle didn't notice, only me. But I guess you don't trust me, I thought we were friends, Angel" she said feeling hurt "That isn't fair, we are friends" he pointed out. "Then admit it" she added. Angel took a deep breath. "I. . . I think I'm in love with her" Angel said. *There I said it happy* he thought. He was expecting her to go all crazy about this. But to his surprise she just looked at him. "How long" she asked. "A little while now. During senior year. You remember on Graduation, when Faith shot me with the poison arrow" he asked her. "Yeah" she answered. "Well, Willow was looking after me and I told her how I felt about her. She thought I meant Buffy and I was seeing things. . ." "But you meant her." Cordelia finishing his sentence. "Yeah" he said looking down as he did something terrible. "I never planned on this, it just happen" he told her. "I know" she said softly to him. "Angel, look at me" she told him. He did and looked her in the eyes. "If you're not meant to make her happy, be her friend and let her be with someone who can" she said putting her hand on his shoulder. "Thanks" he said giving her hand a squeeze. "Come on, let's kick this Millard guy's ass" she said walking during the car. Despite the mood, it made Angel chuckled and he followed her. _____________________________________________________ They were driving for a little bit, when they saw some cops blocking the roads. "What's going on" she asked. "Let's find out" Angel said and he got out of the car. There were other people looking at some dead people the cops were taking pictures at. Angel looked really hard and saw that the man's heart was removed. Cordelia saw it too and looked at Angel. "Angel" a voice said from behind them. They turned and saw Kate. Kate was a detective and knew about Angel being a vampire and all. "Kate, what happen" he asked. "We got a report that some man was chased by some kind of demon" she said looking at the body. "Prowler" Cordelia said to Angel "What" Kate asked. "Prowler demon that's what killed that man. It was hungry" Angel explained. "You better call Doyle" Cordelia suggested. "Good idea" he said and pulled out his cell phone. He dialoged the number and started to ring. "Come on, pick up" he mumbled to himself. ___________________________________________________ At the magic shop, Doyle was awaken by ringing. He shook his head and turn back to his human face. He realized it was his cell phone and answered. "Hello" he said. "Doyle, you all right" Angel asked. "Angel man, thank god it's you" he said slowly getting up. "What happen, are you two okay" he asked concerned. "They got her. The Prowlers, it was a trap, they knew we were coming here and took Willow. I tried to stop them, but they knocked me out" he said. "Where are you" Angel asked. "Blessed Be Forever at the corner of Sherman Way" he said. "We'll be right there" he said. "Hurry" Doyle said and hung up. ____________________________________________________ "What happen" Cordelia asked Angel "They got Willow" Angel said. "Damn" she said. "Who's Willow" Kate asked. "She's an old friend, and she's in trouble" Angel said with Kate and Cordelia behind him. "I'm coming too" she said. "No, you're not" Angel protested "I want to help" Kate added. "Angel, we don't have time for this, we could use a little help here anyway" Cordelia pointed out. Angel took a good look at Kate and finally gave in. "Get in" he took her. The three of them in the car and drove off to get Doyle. * * * Doyle paced outside the magic shop waiting for Angel and Cordelia to show up. He finally saw them pulling up. "Doyle, you okay" Cordelia asked him. "I will be once we kick that Millard's guy ass" Doyle said and looked at the back and found Kate sitting there. "What's she doing here" he asked them. "She's going to help us, we already filled her in on most of the detail" Angel said. "Come on Doyle, get in" Cordelia ordered. Without another word Doyle hopped in the back with Kate and they drove off. ____________________________________________________ At the Ned Millard's mansion, one of the Prowler demons opened wide French doors into the den with the other two dragging Willow, who was still unconscious. The leader stopped in front of an arm chair where Ned Millard was sitting. He was in his mid-twenties with brown shaggy hair and brown eyes. "Set her down" he ordered them. They nodded and dragged her down with a loud thud. Willow woke up with a groan slowly looking up at Ned Millard. "Willow Rosenberg, it's so nice to meet you" he said. She didn't say anything, she gave him a dirty look and slowly got to her feet. "You must be Millard" she pointed out. "Please, call me Ned" he suggested. "There's a lot of things I want to call you, Ned is not one of them" she snapped back. "My, my, I see someone has an attitude problem" he said with an evil grin. "Yeah, well, being knocked unconscious and dragged to power-hungry lunatic's mansion can do that to a person" she added. He stood up and walked over to her. He stroked her hair, but she pushed it off. "So much power," he started and then turned to the demons "prepare her." Before Willow could react they dragged her and tied her to a chair. As they were tying her, all she could do was pray that the others would get here soon. ______________________________________________________ "There it is on the right" Kate pointed to a dark mansion. Angel pulled over to the side. He got with the others right behind. He went to the back and opened the truck. Inside were daggers, two crossbows, an sword and an axe. "Grab a weapon" he ordered them and he grabbed the sword. Kate picked up a crossbow and looked at it uneasy. "How do you use this thing" she asked Cordelia. "Well, think of it as a gun, except your uses arrows and not bullets" she said picking up a crossbow and a dagger. "Okay" she said and turning to Doyle who was wrapping the dagger around his waist with the holder. "You ready" she asked Doyle. He closed the truck holding the axe with both hands. "I'm ready" he said. "Let's go" Angel ordered and lead the troops. There was a guard looking around with his flashlight and then saw them. "Hey, you're not suppose-" he started but was cut off as Angel's fist connected with his jaw, leaving the guard groaning in pain on the ground. "I love it when he does that" Cordelia said to herself. ___________________________________________________ The ritual had already started. Millard chanting in Latin holding a jewel in his hand and with each chant it glowed. "Dark forces, I beg of you, let this jewel allow me to drain power from the red witch" he said in English. Then he walked over to Willow and pressed the jewel against her arm. She cried as it burned against her skin. "I feel it" he cried with happiness. "Feel this freak" a voice called out. He turned and saw Angel throw a dagger that went flying right for his shoulder. He screamed and dropped to his knees. "We knocked, but we just let ourselves in" Doyle added. "Kill them" Millard ordered his demons and they attacked. ___________________________________________________ "Oh, great" Cordelia said under her breath. She aimed her crossbow and it was right at the heart. "Hey, I got one" she declared. "And there are three coming more coming from the other doors" Kate said. She was right two were attacking Angel and one headed for Doyle who was swinging his axe keeping him away. One of the demon wrapped his arms around Angel's chest and the other one gave an upper cut to Angel's jaw. He shifted his weight and wrapped his ankles around the creatures neck and with light quickness he snapped his neck like a toothpick. He gave the other demon a back head butt and then leaned forward and flipped him. Kate fired her crossbow and she missed. She tried again but the demon grabbed the crossbow and broke it in half. It grabbed her by the hair and threw her at on a coffee table. She looked around for a weapon and found a really sharp point on a piece of wood. The demon picked her up from behind. It spun her around and she quickly stabbed it in the heart. It cried in pain dropped to the ground. Kate looked and saw Doyle still fighting off his demon. It knocked his axe out of his hands and reached for his heart. Angel and Cordelia told her how they eat hearts. "No" she yelled and did a flying tackle. She and the demon went down and she managed to pin it's arms down. "Doyle, hurry, I can't hold him" Kate told him. Doyle nodded and pulled out his dagger and drive it right in the chest. "Thanks" he told her. "No problem" she said. "Doyle" Angel called to him. Angel and his demon were still fighting each other. "Angel" Doyle called back. "Get Willow" he ordered and he quickly did a jumping round house kick. "On it boss" he said quickly going to Willow. Cordelia was out of arrows and she was trying to protect herself with the dagger. But it grabbed the dagger from her hand and he cut her calve. It wasn't deep, but it was enough to make her bleed and make a big rip on her jeans. She let a cry and looked at her pants. "Damn, I just bought these" she cried angrily. "Now, I get my second chance to eat your heart" he said. Cordelia looked and realized it was the demon who tried to kill her earlier. "You" she shrieked with angry. "Me" he said with chuckled. "Laugh at this" she said and punched him right in the face. The impact knocked him on the floor and the dagger slipped out of his hand and Cordelia stood looking down at him. "That was for earlier" she explained. "Cordelia" Kate called to her and threw her the axe. Cordelia got it and smiled evilly at him. "And this is for messing with Cordelia Chase's outfit" she said cut his head off. "That felt good" she said looking at the bloody blade of the axe. Millard finally managed to pull out the dagger from his shoulder, but Doyle grabbed him by the collar and punched him in the face. "Doyle" Willow said. "Hang on Will, have you out in a sec" he said cutting the ropes with the dagger. Angel was just finishing his last victim and he stab him right in the back. "We got them" Cordelia cried. "We still got Millard" Kate said. Everyone turned toward Millard who stood grinning. "You are fools, I manage to drain in enough power from her to make me strong" he said. He looked over at Doyle and Willow who was now freed. He waved his hand Doyle went flying across the room and into Angel's arms and they both fell. "You guys" she cried and then Millard punched her in the face and she fell. "Willow" Cordelia cried. "It's hard to believe that a weak, pathetic, witch like you can be powerful" he said and he kicked her in the stomach. "Get away from her" Doyle warned him but Angel held him back. "Doyle, stay back" Willow warned him. Millard grin even more enjoying their pain. He kneeled down and grabbed her up the hair. "You don't deserve, such power," he said and punched her and turned to face them "now you will all die." His eyes glowed red as fire and all four of them started to choke. "I. . . I can't breathe" Kate exclaimed grabbed her throat. "Willow, get up" Angel cried. "Get up, Will" Cordelia cried dropping to her knees. Willow looked at her friends about to die right in front of her. She had to do something. *You have power Willow. You have to believe* she thought. "After I kill you, I'll kill her" he said. "I have a better idea" a voice said. He turned and saw Willow standing there her eyes full of rage and hate. "How about you let them go and I make you scream like damn *BITCH*!!!!" she said and waved her hand and sent him flying across the room. It was so powerful, he went straight through a wall. With that, the other started to breathe normal again. "Nice distance" Doyle said. "All in the wrist" Willow said. Millard got up and started toward her. She didn't move she was ready for him. He shot lighting bolts out of his hand, but it bounced off her. "How can this be, I drained you" he said. "You did, but it wasn't enough" she said with a grin. He tried again and again it didn't hit her once. "You crossed the line with messing with my powers" she exclaimed. "I'll kill you and those freaks you call your friends" he said. Willow folded her arms in front of her. "And guess what Ned," Cordelia said to him "you just crossed another one." "You look cold, *NED*" she said looking at the fireplace the fire still burning. "Let's heat things up" she said and the fire went straight for Millard. He screamed as his full body was set on fire, he ran around like a lunatic. Then he burned until he was dust. Willow panted as she was tried from the fight. Everyone gave her hugs and told her she did good. "Remind me never to mess with you" Cordelia said playful to her. "That's my girl" Doyle said putting his arms around her. "Let's get out of here" Kate said. Without another word they the place. __________________________________________________ At the Angel's place Doyle was tenting to Willow and they were all cuddly like. Angel and Cordelia were across the room just watching them. "Thanks Cordelia" Angel said after a moment of silence. "For what" Cordelia asked. "What you said to me earlier, and you're right. If I'm not meant to make her happy, I should be her friend and let her find someone who can" he said. Willow giggled and Doyle leaned in and kissed her. "And it looks like she has" he said. "No sweat" she said. He turned and smiled at her. "You're a good friend" he said. "I guess hanging around you guys finally rubbed off on me" she said. "Yup" he said. Without thinking Cordelia went over and gave Angel and a big hug. "I just felt like doing that" Cordelia announced. "It's cool" Angel said with a smile. They hugged her again and he knew he would be all right. As long as Willow was happy, he's happy * * * THE END
