Title: Resurrecting Doyle Parts 4-6 Author: Danielle E-Mail: willow-n-oz@webtv.net (Even though I'm no longer an Oz fan) Summary: A Buffy/Angel crossover. Willow does a spell to resurrect Doyle. Disclaimer: All the characters belong to Joss and a bunch of big companies. Spoiler: "Hero" Angel ep. Classification: Willow/Spike, Buffy/Angel, Cordelia/Doyle, a brief Willow/Doyle, Xander/Anya Notes: I was so bitter about Doyle being killed. I decided to write a fic about Willow resurrecting him. :) AnythingWillowFanfic- I'm sorry Willow's not in this part, but I promise she's playing a major part in the future. This is just a neccessity of the story. Feedback: I am begging you! Please! I need to know if you like this. It's one of my darker fics. Well, the beginning is. Now, all twelve vampires were attacking Willow and Buffy. Willow was trying her best to stake the vampires tht were on Buffy through the back. Buffy was trying her best to kick them off. Willow's spellbook was gone. She couldn't find it anywhere. They were down four vamps. "I can't believe we still have to fight eight of these things," Willow said. Buffy grunted and kicked one of the three vamps off of her. Willow felt one of the vamps attacking her evaporate into dust. "Giles!" Willow said relieved. Willow got up off the ground. She saw Spike standing a few feet away. "Hey," she smiled. He walked closer to her. "Spike," one of the vamps said with his teeth gritted. Spike turned to him. "Daniel!" he said sounding surprised to see him. "We heard you took a trip to the vet," he said. Spike was taken aback. He turned to Willow. "If I hold him, do you think you could kill him? But torture him first? And make it quick." Willow nodded quickly and went for the Slayer bag. She got out a cross, a bigger-than-normal bottle of holy water, and a stake. "We have special treatment for you, Daniel," Spike muttered in his ear. "Rip his shirt open," he said to Willow. Willow obeyed and smiled. Then she took out the cross and put it up against his flesh. Smoke rised from his skin. After Willow had seen enough, she tossed the cross on the ground behind her and picked up the holy water and stake. She poured some of if on him, then waited for the signal from Spike to stake him. He gave her the signal, and Willow staked him. "Now, that was fun," Willow said. "That's going to be the only one you get to do that to. He made me mad about a century ago. Then he disappeared." "We'll chat later. Right now, let's help Buffy," Willow said. Spike grabbed a vamp by the arms taht had his back to him. Willow staked him. When Buffy was off the ground, they stood by and watched her kill the remaining ones. ******** Cordelia and Angel were in her car on their way to Sunnydale. They were about halfway there. They hadn't really said anything. A little small talk, but that was it. Angel finally got enough courage to ask her. "What exactly was in your vision?" Cordelia kept her eyes on the road. "I saw Buffy under two vamps. They were too strong for her, and more were coming." Angel was silent. "Angel?" Cordelia asked. She was starting to worry about him. He was never quiet after he learned of the new message from The Powers That Be. He looked at her. He was fully vamped out. "Was Spike there?" ******** "You're evil!" she yelled at him after the car had hit a tree. "No, I'm not. Get out of here and keep driving." Cordelia floored the gas. She looked at Angel. "Do me a favor and morph back into a human." Angel obeyed. "Oh, and the car won't move. We're stuck." Cordy said. Angel sighed and got out of the car. He came on Cordelia's side. Cordelia rolled down her window. "What are you doing?" she demanded. "If I push the car, will you floor it?" he asked. "Yeah." she said. Angel walked to the back of the car. He started to push it. Even after Cordy had made the gas pedal go as far down as it would go, the car's back tires were just slinging mud up in Angel's face. Eventually, he walked back to Cordy's side of the car. She rolled down the window again. "What happened to you?" she asked. "Do you have your cell?" Angel asked. "Yeah," Cordy handed him her cell. Angel called Triple A. When he hung up the phone, he said, "They're on their way." He gave Cordy the phone and sat down on his side of the car. ********** Willow, Buffy, Giles, and Spike went back to Giles's apartment. "Now, how many were there?" Giles asked Buffy once they were inside and sitting on the couch with the tea and crackers on the table in front of them. "A lot. Maybe fifteen. I can normally fight that many vampires, but these guys were strong and knew my every move I usually use on the anonymous vamp," Buffy explained. "Could it be possible they were filming you patrolling for a while?" Giles asked. "Wait. This has happened before," Buffy thought. Then she turned to Spike. "What?" Spike asked. "You have done that to me before," Buffy accused. Spike's eyes widened. "I have not!" he denied. Buffy glared at him. He glared back. "Look, I know you taped me a couple nights before Halloween two years ago!" Buffy yelled at him. Willow looked from Buffy to Spike. "Guys, stop it!" she pleaded. "All I need is my best friend and my boyfriend fighting." "Sorry, Will," Buffy said quickly. "We'll be good," Spike added, kissing Willow on the cheek. ***** ~FLASHBACK~ Willow walked to Giles's. She was late and she knew it, but didn't care. She had spent the last hour sobbing into her pillow because Oz had told her he was leaving Sunnydale. She had cried so much she had a headache. That's when she decided to go to Giles's. She figured one of the others would either call or come by to see how she was doing. She walked into the bathroom and washed off her face. After she was done, she looked into the mirror. Her eyes were really red and puffy. It was obvious that she had been crying. Willow walked out of the bathroom and got her coat and walked out of the dorm. Once at Giles's, Willow knocked on the door quietly. Giles opened the door. "Oh, Willow. I thought I heard someone knocking on the door. Come on in." Giles moved out of the way. Willow walked in without a word. She sat on the couch beside Xander. "Hey, Will," he greeted her. He knew about the whole Oz deal but not in great detail. He knew Oz had left town leaving Willow heartbroken. He hated Oz for it. She deserved so much better. He never would have thought she would end up with Spike. Buffy walked from across the room to hug Willow. "He's gone. Oz is really gone," Willow cried on her shoulder. Buffy looked at everyone else in the room helplessly. She didn't know what to do with her. "Oh, I'm sorry," Willow said as she pulled away from Buffy. "I promised myself I wasn't going to cry." She wiped away the tears. *~One Month Later~* Willow walked with Buffy to Giles's for their nightly meetings. She was feeling a little better, but not much. She was getting her appitite back at least. Buffy knocked on the door. Spike answered it. "What are you doing out of the tub and chains?" Buffy demanded. "If Giles sees you, you're dust." "He let me out," Spike said. "What did you do?" Cast a spell on him so he would like you?" "How would I do that with me locked in the tub?" Buffy shoved him out of the way. "Giles?" she called. Giles came in from his bedroom. "Good. Now, that we're all here..." Willow walked inside Giles's apartment. She smiled at Spike. Buffy was so mean to him. He hadn't done anything to her except... try to kill her several hundred times. Willow could see why she hated him. She sat down at the coffee table on the floor. There were no seats left unless she wanted to be squashed. Spike sat down beside her. "How are you?" he asked. "I've been better," she replied. "I know how you feel." "I don't think you do." "You do remember Dru?" "Yeah, I do. I mean, guys don't get so emotional when relationships end." Don't you remember last year? Me kidnapping you and all." Willow thought for a minute, remembering what had happened last year. He had kidnapped Willow and knocked Xander out. He wanted Willow to do a love spell for him and Dru because she had left him for a chaos demon. Like Oz had left her for another werewolf. Until he killed her. Then he just left Willow. She knew it was her fault because she wasn't pretty enough. "I guess you're right," she said to Spike. "We're more alike than we thought." "We both got our hearts broken by our one true love." Willow thought she had only one true love. She would soon realize Spike was her other. Her real soulmate, better half, and mate.
