Title: Rain Can Do Funny Things Author: Lissa Raing: NC-17 General Disclaimers I decided to do something different than what I usually do so...enjoy. Cordelia tapped her foot annoyed. "Where is Angel? I need to get home some time tonight." Doyle stiffled a yawn and looked at the threatening weather outside. "Of all days for a storm to roll in." Cordelia rubbed her eyes. "He's with a client. You know he'll be pushing dawn. That is so like him." "Let's get a cab." As he said this rain came pouring down. Cordelia's eyes widened and an expression he couldn't read came over her face. "No, I'd rather walk." He grabbed his wallet from his back pocket. "I don't want you to get sick. If it's about money, Princess, it's okay. I'll pay for it." Cordelia took his arm. "No, it's not about money. I just want you to walk with me." She gave him the big pouty eyes. "Please?" He looked into the rain. "Are you sure? What about the vampires?" Cordelia shrugged. "They don't like rain. They'd rather hang out and eat shop keepers. We'll be fine." She grabbed his hands and pulled him outside. "Come on! It'll be fun!" Doyle let himself be drug into the rain. Cordelia giggled girlishly and twirled in a circle. "Dance with me." He tried to block his face from the downpour. "Huh?" Cordelia turned her face up into it. "Dance with me in the rain." She slid her soaking sweater off leaving her in a black button up tank top. He gulped. He shouldn't be looking but he was. Her shirt was soaked through and clinging to her every curve. He watched her spin happilly. She took her sweater and wrapped it around his neck pulling him to her. Her clothing soaked what part of him that was still dry. "Come on, Doyle. Live a little." He looked down at her. "If I tried to live at your life speed I'd have a heart attack." She did another twirl her short skirt billowing around her. "Please?" He looked at her shapely tanned legs and gave in. He took her hand and waltzed her around the street. Once she got the hang of the steps they went faster and faster until they were spinning at a dizzy speed. Cordelia slipped in a puddle and fell agianst him. He wrapped his arms firmly around her waist to keep her up. Cordelia wound her arms around his neck. "Don't you love this?" she yelled over the rain. Doyle stared at her. "Absolutely." he breathed. Cordelia smiled a crooked knowing grin. She pressed her wet body to his. "Cool." She opened her mouth to say something else when lightning lit the sky and thunder cracked. She jumped. "Storm! There's a storm afoot!" She grabbed his hand. "Hurry, let's get in!" Doyle's apartment was closer so they ran for it. Doyle grabbed his key from his pocket. At the door he tried to put it in the lock. Cordelia leaned seductively beween them. She ran her hands over his chest. "Hurry." He had to reach around her to the door. She giggled and brushed her body against his. He swung the door open and looked at her. "You're all wet." She wrapped her arms around his neck pulling him fully against her. "I am very wet." Doyle paused. The way she said that he thought for a moment that she wasn't talking about rain. He shrugged it off. This was Cordelia. She had no interest in him that way. Especially that much interest. He motioned her in. She walked in and began shaking out her hair. He threw his keys onto the coffee table and turned around. He froze seeing a direct shot down Cordelia's shirt as she bent over trying to wring out her hair. He uncomfortably shifted his weight. Cordelia looked up at him with a coy smile. He cleared his throat and looked away. She walked over and slowly pushed his jacket off his shoulders. "You'd better hang this up before it get's ruined." He let her take the jacket from him and watched as she tossed it onto a chair. She walked into the kitchen and hopped onto the table. She let one leg hang and she put the other up on a chair. She casually began shaking her hair out. Doyle watched her mesmerized. The way she was sitting caused her skirt to lay in a position that left him imagining. The imagining was leaving his body in an embarrasing position. Cordelia looked him up and down. She brought her hand to her shirt and began unbuttoning it. Her gaze never left his. Doyle's eyes widened. "Uh, Cordelia? Can I ask you a question? What are you-" "Let me ask you one first. And answer honestly. I can see if you lie." He watched her unsurely. "What?" She grinned. "Come here. It's a secret." He walked over with a quizical look. "Yeah?" She wrapped her legs around him and pulled him against her. She put her lips to his ear. "Do you want to have sex with me?" He pulled back his eyes wide. "Excuse me?" She ran her hands through his hair and kissed his jaw line. "Do you want to have sex with me?" He gulped feeling his body fully harden at the thought of her proposal. He wanted her. God knew he wanted her but he didn't know her intentions or if he would be taking advantage of her. "I don't know..." Cordelia pressed her body to his. "Don't say you don't want to. I feel that you do." She ran her hands over his chest and ran her feet up and down his legs. "Come on. I intend to leave you completely pleased. So what if you're more experienced. Doesn't mean I can't satisfy you." He squeazed his eyes shut as she finished unbuttoning her shirt. He was trying to hold out. He didn't want to do something she would regret in the morining. "I'll do anything you feel like." she whispered. "Anything." Doyle was losing the battle. The only thing he could think of that he wanted right then was to be burried inside of her body. To be touching her. Caressing her. His resolve fell. He grabbed her and pressed his lips to hers. He pulled her body to his and ran his hands through her hair. She leaned back onto the table pulling him down with her. She fumbled with his belt. Doyle halted her. "Slowly." he whispered taking her shirt the rest of the way off. "I am going to teach you control." He ran his finger down her neck to her chest. Cordelia moaned. "I don't think I can go slowly. I want you now." Doyle licked his lips. He may be getting old but he still knew a thing or two on how to get a girl excited. "Besides if we rushed we would be having sex on the table. I'd much rather do things to you on my bed." Cordelia silently returned his kisses. Doyle lifted her up and balanced her on his hips. "I think we should retire to the bedroom." Cordelia nodded and wrapped her legs around his waist. She could feel his hardness through his jeans and moved so she could feel more of him. He kicked open the bedroom door and layed her down on the bed. With gentle hands he explored her body. Little moans of pleasure escaped her lips and he took note of the spots she seemed to enjoy the most. He ran his hands slowly up her inner thigh. With determination he removed her underwear. He gently slid a finger inside of her hot tunnel making sure not to hurt her. He noted that she had not lied to him earlier she was definaletly wet and ready. He pulled his finger out of her and leaned over her. "Are you sure you want this?" She squirmed out of her skirt. "Yes, please." she begged. Doyle nodded and disgarded his clothes. He lay craddled between her legs. In one quick motion he captured her lips in his and shoved into her. Cordelia gasped and pushed her body upward to his. She ran her hands through his hair and kissed him needilly. "Doyle," she moaned in his ear. "Oh, Doyle." He kissed her throat and groaned as he pushed once again into her. They continued, Doyle setting the pace. After a few minutes Cordelia gripped his shoulder blades as a feeling that felt so good tingled through her body. "Harder." she whispered in his ear. Doyle reached what he needed seconds after her. He took a calming breath. "God, Cordy." She nodded breathlessly. "That was..." "I'm getting old. That wore me out." "You're not the only one." she nuzzled his neck. "But it was worth it." He kissed her softly "Definaltely, definalately worth it. What...what made you want to do that?" Cordelia blushed. "It was the rain. Rain does that to me. I already wanted you and then add rain to it." Doyle grinned. "I'm glad we decided to walk." Cordelia leaned her head on his chest. "Me too." They lay silently in each others arms for a few minutes when thunder boomed outside and lightning zagged across the sky. Cordelia felt her heartbeat pick up. "Did you hear that?" Doyle turned to look at her. "The thunder? Yeah, I was hoping you did too." Cordelia nodded. "I did. Do you know what this means?" Doyle shrugged. "What?" She rolled on top of him. "It's my turn to be on top." * * * Angel looked up as his co-workers walked into the office the next day. He noticed their chipper manner. "Did you guys have a good night?" Doyle nodded "Oh, yeah." Cordelia smiled coyly. "The best." Angel sent them both wierd looks. "Okay." He began rooting through some files. "Me too. I fought a demon in that thunderstorm. I won." Cordelia smiled. "No kidding." She polished her nails against her shirt. "I wish it would rain around here more often." Doyle closed his eyes for a moment to control himself. It didn't work. "You know what so do I. I say we should move the office to a more rainy part of town." Cordelia shrugged. "Either that or we should buy some whipped cream. I like whipped cream." Angel looked preoccupied at a bill. "How does whipped cream relate to thunder storms." She bit on one of her perfect manicured nails. "I could think of a few." Doyle quickly grabbed his keys. "Angel? I'm going to the grocery store. I'll be back in a flash." As he left Cordelia leaned against her desk. "Angel, think we could get off early?" Angel put down the bill with a sigh. "If it will get you quiet so I can read the bills fine just...try to look busy." Cordelia smiled evilly. "Will do." The End
